2014 F-OFF Advisory Board
GREG ZENON is a civil rights, criminal defense lawyer. He is also a 3rd Degree Blackbelt Sensei of the Fukasa-Kai Samurai Sword Art and teaches teens and adults in the Bronx. His production of Shakespeare in Space: A Star Trek Mash-Up (Oxford University, Trinity College Beer Cellar, Summer 1993) was, to quote Christopher Plummer as General Chang in Star Trek VI, singular.
EZRA BUZZINGTON is the Founder of the first Fringe Festival in the United States (Seattle) and Co-Founder of the largest (NYIFF). He also advises on what he thinks is the best Fringe Festival in the United States. (Hollywood). Described as "Father of the Fringe" movement in the US as well as "Underground Film's Dennis Hopper", Ezra's theatrical resume runs too long to print here and his television/film credits as an actor number in the dozens. He's worked with many of Hollywood's most artistically gifted directors: David Fincher (Zodiac/Fight Club), Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes/Mirrors), Terry Zwigoff (Ghost World/Art School Confidential), Christopher Nolan (The Prestige), Clint Eastwood (J. Edgar) and Paul Thomas Anderson (Magnolia). Currently he's recurring in the role of Oswald Eisengrim on NBC's new series "Crossbones" starring John Malkovitch as Blackbeard. He's thrilled to be advising in any capacity for F-OFF because it's his belief that the intrusion of corporate America into the realm of the theatrical has resulted in the art form taking a severe jolt of genericism to its nether regions. "The theatre needs to start kicking back so it doesn't drown in a tsunami of mediocrity. Show your wounds. And light them well."
